This page contains a history of releases for the Contract Analyst product line. This will include enhancements as well as maintenance releases.

Version 2.4.4 (Current Version)

  • Added New window titled "Contract Sites" to the Contract Contractors Sub-Module.
  • Added First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name, Salutation, and Suffix fields to the Client Contacts, Contract Contacts, Vendor Contacts, and Sites Windows.

  • New checkbox added to the Tickler Window to include expired records.
  • Added a new window called "Sites" in the management menu. This will be used to populate a new drop down list on the deliverables window allowing users to select a site for a deliverable.
  • Added a grid to the bottom of the deliverables window to allow for different deliverable types and quantities.

Version 2.3.4

  • Added capability where System Administrators can now be assigned a "default" group allowing new records created by them to default to that group.

  • Corrected minor issue where security group was not auto populating on new records.

Version 2.3.3

  • Enhanced System Notes Interface. Moved list to the slide-out bar.
  • Added custom connection string to database connection window allowing Contract Analyst to connect to any database using ODBC and OLEDB.

Version 2.3.1

Version 2.3.0

  • Enhanced module screens to display full frame and resize multiline textboxes where appropriate.
  • Added confirmation dialog for deleting main module records. App now can force a reason for deletion which is added to audit_trails.
  • Converted all delete messageboxes to use new confirmation box.
  • Corrected minor issue when no records were present in treeview, tickler, and other screens.

Version 2.2.8

  • Minor tweaks and enhancements in CA with icons display, consistency of buttons, etc.
  • Changed Wizard to Getting Started... with updated text.
  • Added a messagebox to Export button in eBids window.
  • Completed the graphic updates and other minor text updates to help.

Version 2.2.7

  • Tickler window improved to display the module and screen that a tickler belongs to (uses module number or title depending on settings).
  • Added View button to tickler window.
  • Added project number to CB/RA screen, modified reports, treeview to use it.
  • About screen for enterprise edition displays database server application is pointing to.
  • Added security to about window to hide registration number to users who are not admin.

  • Corrected problem in some drop down lists that couldn't be chosen.
  • Removed extra blank pages from being printed on some reports and other minor tweaks to reports.
  • Fixed font display on the splash screen progress bar.

  • Corrected field mapping in Contract module Subcontract Of and Objectives storage.
  • Added locale awareness on currency fields. Program now uses Windows Currency Settings in the Control Panel for displaying the currency symbol.

  • Fixed problem where Tickler and Message Reports were not closing when clicking on the X.
  • Improved the display of the City, State and Zip in the Company Header of all reports (Reduced the amount of whitespace between the fields).

Version 1.3.2

  • Reports were not closing and releasing from memory when clicking on the close button.
  • After opening any report, when attempting to open up a new report that included Proposal, Contract, or Project dropdown comboboxes resulted in memory error.
  • Enterprise Edition now compatible to work with MySQL version 4.1 or Later.
  • Enterprise Edition allows technical support to configure database and choose what type of database server they are connecting to (ie. Sybase, Microsoft, MySQL, etc).
  • BOF or EOF error can occur on certain reports, this is now handled properly by the application.
  • Some modules that allow the user to enter in Line Number as the primary key would give an incorrect error when the user tried to update the record after saving it (ie Contract Clauses, etc).
  • Contract Clauses and Proposal Clauses did not properly reset the scroll view to top of frame when the user tabbed to "Add Standard ... Clause" button.
  • Vendor Services and Vendor Products when entering in a value on the Service or Product cost fields did not enable the "Save" button.

Version 1.3.0

  • Replaced the main menu and tool bar with more stable and reliable components.
  • Fixed the issue where clicking on a date or drop down control might automatically cause the frame to scroll.
  • Added code to handle unloading the application if the connection to a database server becomes lost.
